Global technology.
Regional capability.

Pyplok and Tube-Mac piping technologies, brought together with SAE’s product supply, technical coordination and practical field support across Southern Africa.

CONNECTED EXPERTISE

Two connection methods, one regional point of contact.

Pyplok’s swaged fittings and Tube-Mac’s flange systems offer different approaches to non-welded piping. Explore the technologies below, then discuss the components and installation equipment required for your application.

360°RADIAL SWAGE TECHNOLOGY
01 / PYPLOK®

A permanent connection.
Without the weld.

Pyplok uses hydraulically powered tooling to compress a fitting around pipe or tube. The resulting cold-swaged connection avoids welding and threading at the joint, making it a practical option for suitable new-build and maintenance applications.

Cold installation
No flame or welding heat at the connection.
Portable tooling
Hydraulic installation equipment matched to the selected fitting range.
Controlled inspection
Installed fittings are checked with the manufacturer’s Go-No-Go gauge.

37°FLARE FLANGE CONNECTIONS
02 / TUBE-MAC®

Engineered flange systems.
Built around the application.

Founded in Canada in 1977, Tube-Mac develops non-welded piping technologies for industrial applications. Its flange systems combine prepared pipe ends, mechanical retention and sealing components to form the connection.

37° Flare Flange
Flared pipe ends and cone inserts are drawn together by bolted flanges. Rotating flanges simplify bolt alignment.
Retain Ring
A machined groove and segmented retaining ring secure the flange on heavy-wall pipe.
A coordinated system
Flanges, pipe clamps, components and accessories support the wider installation.
